MAKE-UP LOOK: Black Cut Crease

Hey guys,
Just a quick post here showing you the look I created after doing the winged liner for my previous post I got a bit carried away with my liner brush and ended up with this...

I quite enjoyed this look and decided to share it with you guys :)

To create this look, starting with winged liner already on I used my Zoeva Winged Liner brush to cut the crease and then blended upwards with some black eyeshadow. I then applied two sets of lashes on the upper lash line and cut up another set of lashes and stuck them to the lower lash line in small sections. A very easy look to do and also wearable, remove the bottom lashes and you have a great party look!

Winged Liner: Zoeva Winged Liner Brush

Hey guys,

As a lover of eyeliner I'm always looking for brushes and products to make the deathly chore a bit easier and I seem to have stumbled upon a brush that does just that! For whatever reason the Zoeva Winged Liner brush (Zoeva Haul Post) does the job in half the time of any of my other brushes. It is not some revolutionary shape of brush and doesn’t have magical bristles that apply liner in one quick stroke, however I think it is because of how thin the brush is so you can build up the thickness of the line instead of starting with a thick line and ending up with liner all over your eyelid. The size of the brush head also helps as it is not as small as say the MAC angled brush, so it creates long thin lines instead of short stubby ones. It doesn’t make doing winged liner completely mistake proof (I think that comes with many, many years of practise!) however it has recently become my go-to eyeliner brush. Here are my favourite ways to wear winged liner using No.7 gel liner in black, enjoy...

(Ignore unplucked brows!)
My favourite way to wear eyeliner is with a bright lipstick, above I wore MAC Morange. I love this look espeically for summer :)

Zoeva Haul & MAC Dupes!

Hey guys,

I have recently been looking to expand my kit brush collection as currently I have one set of brushes that I use on myself and clients(washing in-between obviously), however I'm sure many of you agree that washing make up brushes constantly is one hell of a chore! So I decided to have my own personal brushes that I use on myself daily and another set that I keep in my kit for clients. So when payday came I started looking around for some new eye brushes starting at MAC and various other high end brands but after choosing even a couple staple brushes I was looking at a very big bill. So I started doing a bit more research and came across Zoeva, which I think is a German brand (correct me if I'm wrong). The site was very easy to navigate and it didn’t take me long to find exactly what I was looking for! All the brushes were very reasonably priced, everything was priced in Euros and it wasn't until I actually went to pay for the items using PayPal that I was told the amount in Pounds but that wasn’t an issue for me as I knew that whatever it was in Euros it would be cheaper in Pounds! So I chose the eye set which at 33 EUR for 7 kit essential brushes in my opinion was a complete bargain!

This is how they arrived, the package also contained a free brush cleaner which was a nice extra I haven't tried it out yet though. I placed my order on a Friday, the brushes arrived the following Tuesday. The price including shipping came to 40.50 EUR which was about £36. These brushes are so soft and feel just as good (maybe even better) as any MAC or other high end brands that you would be paying fortunes for just a single brush. I personally think that almost all of these brushes could be dupes for some of MAC's most popular brushes at only a fraction of the price!
